South African native Jo-Ann Radus has motivated and inspired hundreds of thousands of people globally with her insight and passion for effective communication, diversity, and collaboration. Jo-Ann Radus received her post-graduate degree in Industrial Social Work in South Africa. She developed and led communication and counselling skills training, specializing in stress management and teambuilding, for corporate clients and major hospitals. Her love of music as a universal language led her to partner with the South African based company Drum Cafe almost 20 years ago. Using interactive drumming and rhythmic exercises she is able to unite hundreds of people without saying a single word! Jo-Ann, then, uses the platform created by the musical collaboration to deliver empowerment messages that resonate deeply with her audiences and effect change!
In 2002, Jo-Ann Radus travelled from Johannesburg South Africa to Atlanta, GA to bring Drum Cafe and the inspiring message of collaboration through effective teamwork to the United States.
For well over a decade, Jo-Ann has travelled across America working with many large and small corporate audiences. Jo-Ann has personally facilitated interactive drumming programs in every sector—high-tech, health, government, transportation, hospitality, education, finance, media, and telecommunications. She has worked closely with some of the most powerful brands in the world including Microsoft, Coca Cola, CNN, GE, BP, Shell, Siemens, P&G and many more. She was a featured speaker at The TEDx Centennial park women’s event. With a team of highly talented world class musicians, Jo-Ann delivers a powerful message of collaboration, team work and the importance of authenticity in the workplace and beyond. Our world renowned facilitators , drummers and dancers come from as far afield as West, Central, and South Africa to Latin-born and local USA talent. We pride ourselves on fusing diverse musical elements to create a unique sound that rocks our audience into participation. We also integrate acrobats, stilt walkers, and fire dancers in our larger performances.
